i en tid av nyliberalism

The purpose of this essay is to examine how particular social interests can be traced in the images of the school and the school's pedagogy that dominate in the public debate. Is the political and professional autonomy that is often attributed to the school in large measure is a chimera? My arguments and conclusion mean that the neoliberal project that has dominated social debate and party politics since the 1990s in latent but significant respects has clear corresponding features in the mass media narrative about the school.
